How the published score is calculated

Score = (Testing × 25%) + (Transparency × 20%) + (Reputation × 20%) + (Shipping × 7.5%) + (Customer Support × 7.5%) + (Pricing & Value × 20%). Shipping and customer-support observations are presented separately and combine into the 15% Customer Experience component. The published score is displayed on a decimal ten-point scale; rank is calculated by sorting the resulting weighted scores from highest to lowest.

A category score requires documented source material or a recorded observation appropriate to that category. Where a category cannot be supported, Peptide Index should state the limitation rather than infer a score.

Testing Documentation

Testing documentation is one of the most important factors in the scoring system. We look for vendors that publish third-party laboratory materials and make supporting results available for review.

Score Updates & Commitment

Vendor scores are reviewed periodically and may change as new information becomes available. Our rankings are intended as an educational comparison tool and should not be interpreted as endorsements, guarantees, or medical recommendations.

PeptideIndex.ca was created to help researchers compare vendors using objective criteria whenever possible. Our goal is to provide a transparent framework that makes it easier to evaluate testing standards, reputation, transparency, customer experience, and overall value.
